We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Moira Norquay of Amherstburg, Ontario, born in Sudbury, Ontario. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry and Amy; her siblings, Hal (Blanche) and Joy Rodmell (Roy); and her sister-in-law Dorothy (Dot).
She is survived by: her children, Sheila (Gordon Black) of Ottawa and David (late Sharon Van Alstyne) of Ajax; her granddaughters, Taylor and Keira; her nieces, Debby Stevens (Andy) and Ann Brown (Dan); her husband Tom; and her friends, Peggy Henderson and Doreen Naylor.
Her last year was spent at a long-term care facility in Pickering where her strength shone through, beating a positive COVID-19 diagnosis at 91 years of age.
Charitable donations in Moira's name may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
