She was predeceased by: her son Bill Jr.; her parents, Harvey and Anita; and her brothers, Thomas Hamilton (Joan) and William Hamilton (Norma).

She is survived by: her children, Andrea McKenzie (Bruce), John Hall (Linda Purdie), Sarah Patrick (Tim), Andrew Paling (Debbie), Laurie Frowley (Dan), Pam Lone (Joe), Jill Paling and Matthew Paling. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
