We bid farewell to Freddie Beekhuis (Amherstburg, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 12, 2025 at the age of 80. Freddie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Beekhuis and Fred Beekhuis; and her siblings, Marilyn Dennison and Gord Beekhuis. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Beth Dennison (John Ritchie), Vickie Weigel (Mark), Rebecca Dennison (John Chroust) and Jamie Beekhuis (Amber); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Eric Weigel, Meggan St (Todd), Victoria Chroust, Alana Chroust and Lauren Chroust.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Families First Funeral Home (585 Sandwich St S, Amherstburg, ON N9V3W3). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Freddie may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
