Donald H. Harris Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2020, at the age of 99, Donald H. Harris (Amherstburg, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his children, Gary (Carol Ann), Dennis, Dwight and Tammy Ross (Gary); and his parents, David Leonze and Sadie Harris.

He is survived by: his children, Donald Jr., Diana Hanson (Lonnie), Byron, Cheryle Whited (Linden), Jackie Brown (Richard), Paula Chiswell (Les), Keith (Theresa) and Blair (Carolin); his stepchildren, Cory Millben (Carrie), Mark Steven Millben (Heather) and Bryon Millben (Michelle); his foster son Albert Smith; his siblings, Grenville, Orla Simpson, Clayton, Shirley Jean Handsor, Bobby, Helen, Allan, Betty Lou, Nancy and Ethelda "Pye"; and his sister-in-law Irma Harris. He is also survived by grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In kindness, memorial donations may be made to Mt Beulah Church or to the Amherstburg Freedom Museum.
