He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Purdie and Ilo Purdie (Dugan). He is survived by: his siblings, Sharon, Schopf, Patricia Levack (Leo), Susan, Gibbons, Kaye Potter, Colleen, DiPierdomenico, John Purdie (Mary) and Ken Purdie (Jan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
