It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Simone (Amherstburg, Ontario), born in Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandchild Lianna Szekely; her parents, Charles Allen and May Allen; her siblings, Florence Fraser (Bill), Ruth Johnson (Bud), Ed Allen (Margaret) and Don Allen (Shirley); and her sisters-in-law, Susie Pietrangelo (Frank) and Mary Meloche.
She is survived by: her husband Carmine; her children, Mary Lou Mayville, Nancy Simone and Carmen Simone (Deborah); her grandchildren, David Mayville (Kathy), Kelly Hunt (Mike Holden) and Kara Szekely (Anthony Garreffa); her great grandchildren, Mitchell Mayville, Brett Mayville (Brooke) and Katelyn Thrasher (Trevor); her great great grandchild Madison Mayville; her brothers-in-law, Ervin Meloche and Dan Simone (Jo-Anne); and her son-in-law Bill Szekely. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In kindness, memorial donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, SickKids Hospital in Toronto, or to St. John the Baptist Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
