He was predeceased by: his sister Patty Triolet (Gary); his parents, Albert Colombe and Margaret Gignac; his stepfather Ken Gignac; his brothers, Jerome Colombe and Roger Colombe; his parents-in-law, Thomas Dufton, Grace Dufton, Ted Dufton, Margaret Brennan, Ruth Purdy and Eileen Simpson; and his godson Timothy Curtis.

He is survived by: his wife Ila; his children, Debbie Schell (Rex), Christine Desbiens (Al) and Tom Colombe (Joanne); his grandchildren, William Schell (R. J.), Nick Schell, Katelyn Matte, Ethan, Emily, Erika Colombe (late Michael Matte), Bernie, Kevin and Alison Matte; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Elias and Marzel; his siblings, Shirley (John Curtis), Albert Colombe (Annette), Carol Baillaregeon and Geraldine Hitchens (Dale); his siblings-in-law, Elsie and Jerry Walker; and his godchildren, Diane Curtis Atkinson and Derek Bancroft. He is also survived by uncle too many nieces and nephews.
