It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Marie Bennett (Ruthven) Girard (Amherstburg, Ontario), who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ruthven and Cecilia Ruthven; and her stepfather Nelson Farmer. She is survived by: her husband Ken Girard; her children, Kristen Clair, Scott Bennett (Jaclyn) and Tyler Girard Medcalf (Tim); her stepson Justin Girard (Ashley); her grandchild Devin; and her sisters, Susan (Gerard), Diane, Leda and Nancy (Jerry). She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Families First Funeral Home (585 Sandwich St S, Amherstburg, ON N9V3W3).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Windsor Essex Hospice or the Windsor Cancer Center Foundation in Anna's memorial.
