He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene Lemire and Evelyn Lemire; his sister Deborah; and his parents-in-law, Roland and Raymonde Plante.

He is survived by: his wife Yvette; his children, Sarah Scratch (Brent) and Riley (Lindsey); his siblings, Ken (Anita), Terry (Fung) and Charlene; and his brothers-in-law, Gerald (Elaine) and Marcel (Michelle). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
