He is survived by: his siblings, Ben Smit (Irene) of Pain Court, Martha Smit of Amherstburg and George Smit (Claudette) of Amherstburg; his siblings-in-law, Marie Smit of Harrow and Ken Levert (Guylaine) of Vancouver Island; and his friends, Bill Krolyk, Sandy Simone, Charlie Akers and Jim Jeffs.
