He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Ruby; his stepfather Doug Campbell; and his siblings, Doug Blackmore and Maxine Ross.

He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth Blackmore (Lorna), Shirley Blackmore (Jeremy) and Richard Blackmore (Sharon); and his nieces and nephews, David, Wanda, Michelle, Michael, Jeffery, Christopher, Sarah, Judy, John, Adam, Charles, Maggie, Oliver, Emma and Nygel.

Memorial donations to the Community of Christ Wabash or Alvinston Legion Branch 249 may be forwarded to the funeral home.
