He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Pavey and Irene Pavey; his parents-in-law, Howard and Phyllis Hodgson; his son Mike; his siblings, Ray (late Kay) and Diane Redick (late Bill); and his brother-in-law Ron.

He is survived by: his significant other Velma Hodgson; his children, Steve (Kim), Gerry (Ray), Tammy (Darren), Fred (Doreen), Rick (Nicole) and Roger (Mary); his daughter-in-law Kim; his grandchildren, Trevor, Jennifer, Tyler, R. J., Ashley, Megan, Cody, Ricky, Travis, Taylor, Riley, Spencer, Chelsea, Lucas and Quinn; his great grandchildren, Natalia, Hayden, Blaine, Cali, Emily, Junuh, Mackenzie, Carson and Sullivan; his sister Edna Grover (Mac); and his sisters-in-law, Chris McCabe, Vivian Riedel and Carol Hodgson. He is also survived by many extended family members, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
