He was predeceased by: his mother Mary; and his brother Harry. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his sister-in-law Cathy; his siblings, George (Suzanne), Paul (Brenda) and Charlotte (Russ); his close friend Kim; and his goddaughter Olivia.
