John Emig Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Emig (Almonte, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kurt, Klaus, Helga and Heidi. He is survived by: his wife Irene; his sons, Kenneth (Angela) and Andrew (Laura); his grandson Dylan; his nieces, Michaela, Andrea, Claudia and Lisa; and his nephew David.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Anglican Church (70 Clyde St, Almonte, ON K0A1A0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Almonte General Hospital in John's memory would be greatly appreciated by our family for the outstanding, constant care of John by Dr. Ray and all the nursing staff during his last several stays.
