We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Janet Ford (Almonte, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Janet is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Janet's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Ford; her parents, Borden Leishman and Charlotte Thurston; her stepfather Britt Thurston; and her brother Robert Leishman.
She is survived by: her sons, Toby (Pam) and Jeremy; her brother John Leishman (Carol-Ann); and her grandsons, Wesley and Spencer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum (3 Rosamond St E, Almonte, ON K0A1A0).
In recognition of the exceptional care Wendy received from all areas of the Almonte Hospital on her journey with Parkinson's Disease and Kidney Disease, donations can be made to the Almonte General Hospital-FVM Foundation.
