He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret. He is survived by: his children, Penny Kearns (Wayne), Carol Lavender Devine (late Ted), Mark Lavender (Noreen Kemp), Kimberly Lavender (Stephen Jones) and Paul Lavender (Gaitane Lauzon); his grandchildren, Shannon (Chris), Melinda (Mike), Carley (Chris), Jake (Caitie), Sullivan (Kimberley) and Owen; and his great grandchildren, Adam, Rebecca, Abby, Colin, Deklan, Cillian and Angus. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
