It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ian Hugh MacLean of Almonte, Ontario, who passed away on September 13, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen "Kay"; and his parents, D. Kenneth and Eleanor of Finch, Ontario.. He is survived by: his sons, Niall (Tracy) and Rory; and his grandchildren, Garrett and Rory.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the C. R. Gamble Funeral Home (127 Church St, Almonte, ON K0A1A0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (5604 County Rd 29, Almonte, ON K0A1A0). A reception will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Almonte Legion (100 Bridge St, Almonte, ON K0A1A0).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Ian to the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation.
