Elva Marie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elva Marie in Almonte, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Denis Eldon Born; her son Gary Born; her siblings, Elvina Vaillancourt (late Leonard) and Ronald Schofield; and her stepsiblings, Leonard Cyr, George Cyr, Gemma Miller (late Fred), Aurellia Millaire (late Marcel), Nelida Lynch (Melvin) and Rita Howe (Hector).
She is survived by: her children, Janice Stranks (Robert), Brenda Smallshaw (Ken), Sandra Born, Michael Born (Wendy), Susan Britton (Lorne) and Jason Born; her grandchildren, Evan, Rhys, Tegan, Kimberley, Kristopher, Jo-Anna, Taylor, Myles, Michael and Tracey; her great grandchildren, Derian, Megan, Robin, Blake, Rhodri, Laura and Logan; and her sibling Gerry Schofield.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (11 Mohns Ave, Petawawa, ON K8H2B5).
