It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan Robert Lowry (Almonte, Ontario), who passed away on February 14, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, R. S. Lowry and Dorothy Penman; and his brother Earl. He is survived by: his wife Donna Sweeney; his children, Christa, Julie, Brad (Lindsay Cavanagh) and Leanna; his grandsons, Callum and William; and his siblings, Mary Giles (Ray) and Keith (Susan Johansen).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Allan's memory are asked to consider a donation to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, a charity close to his heart that grew from Canadian farmers wishing to share their abundance with people facing hunger around the world, or a charity of your choice.
