He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel and Agnes; and his brother Ronald. He is survived by: his spouse Marion Metcalfe; his sons, Cory (Karine), Alain, Kirk and Robert; his stepchildren, Kris (Shannon) and Mindy (Adam); his grandchildren, Samuel and Braelynn; and his sisters, Kathryn (Stuart) and Lynda.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Almonte General Hospital or Parkinson's Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
