In loving memory of Roger Black of Alliston, Ontario, born in Oshawa, Ontario, who departed this world on November 3, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Black and Arlie Black; his brother Barry; and his son-in-law Steve Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Davies; his children, Norma Nelson, Kim Hawley (Rick), Sarah Black, Heather Lee (Craig), Shaun Goode (Carrie) and Adam Black (Steven Sage); and his niece Tracy Black. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the W. John Thomas Funeral Home (244 Victoria St E, Alliston, ON L9R1V6). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests memorials be made in Roger's name to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
