She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Brown and Archibald Brown (Conrad Fischer); her brother Alvin Brown; and her brother-in-law Hans Peter Fischer. She is survived by: her sons, Richard (late Nancy), Walter (Meredith), Raymond (Lauren) and Andrew (Mary); her grandchildren, Bronwyn Fischer, Sophie Fischer, Amiya Zsamboky Fischer, Eva Zsamboky Fischer, Malcolm Fischer and Bryce Fischer; and her sister-in-law Erika Fischer Fellinger.
