He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Evelyn Anne Phelps; his children, Paula Phelps (Chris Mallios), Dawn Phelps and Derrick Douglas Phelps; his parents, Douglas Phelps and Willa Phelps; his parents-in-law, Harold Thompson and Jean Thompson; his siblings, John Phelps (Vickie) and Joyce MacKenzie (Ralph); and his siblings-in-law, Douglas Thompson (Olivia), Doreen Collier (Bill), Lenore Howitt (Ray), Sharon Thompson (Ron Allan), Art Thompson (Shirley), Charlie Thompson (Evelyn), David Thompson (Brenda), Kevin Thompson (Lorie), Brenda Doyle (Dana), Ruth DesRoche (late Al), Ken Thompson (Ann Thompson), Valerie Thompson and Sylvia Thompson.
