He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marie Horan and Ted Horan; his spouse Shelley Horan; his children, Mikaela Lowe (Josh), Karleigh Moore (Jeremy) and Bailey Keating (Mike); his parents-in-law, Barbara and Bill Bolton; his siblings, Randy Horan (Donna), Lynn Keogh (John), Terry Horan (Lesa) and Rob Horan (LeeAnn); and his sister-in-law Pam Wilson (Keith). He was also cherished by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, coworkers, and close friends.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Cancer Unit, Barrie or the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto in Mike's memory.
