He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Avery and Gladys Avery; and his siblings, Joyce Johnson and Lloyd Avery. He is survived by: his wife Berta (Higgon); his children, Richard (Tammy) and Michelle Snowden (Mike); his grandchildren, Wyatt Avery (Amanda), Morgan Avery and Charlotte Snowden; and his siblings, Joan Anderson (Larry), Helen Graveline (Murray) and Howard (Janet).
