He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "Betty" Dermott. He is survived by: his children, Eric (Lenora), Paul (Donna), Kevin (Kim), Julie (late Ross) and Grant; his grandchildren, Ryan, Shannon, Denny, Jeff, Michael, Jordan, Christopher, Greg, Matthew and Jake; his great grandchildren, Amanda, Valyn, Keaton, Brett and Maverick; his great great grandchildren, Cooper, Jackson and Paisley; his siblings, Faye (Fred Elines), June (Lawrence Mew), Inez Laycock, Bob Dermott (late Bruce) and Bert (late Agnes); and his brothers-in-law, Bill and Jim Breedon. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many friends.

“Uncle Keith always made you smile weather you were family, friend or stranger. I remember when he came to NFLD on his motorcycle for a visit. He called from the ferry that he was on his way. I realized some time had passed and still no Keith. I called and here he was having a piece of fresh apple pie and a cup of tea with a woman . He had gotten tired and stopped at the end of her driveway. When I asked where he was he was only 10 mins away from where I lived. He had spent over an hour with her.”

“Just to point out that of the billions of people on our little blue marble, our Keith was unique…kept having children till he finally had a girl…was a success at farming… and then real estate….decided if his wee sister June could do it.. so could he.. and in his later years bought a motorcycle…Then like June, bought a Spyder for stability… cruised thousands of miles to Alberta, Newfoundland and of course Ontario’s many country roads…..Goodbye Keith..SHINY SIDE UP….XO”
