She was predeceased by: her son Fred "Butch" Sale; and her sisters, Gloria Baylis and Fay Garsia. She is survived by: her daughter Nicole Taylor (Bruce); her niece Janet Myers (Volney); and her nephew Lionel Baylis.
In Joan's memory, donations may be made to the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket or to Matthews House Hospice.
