She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Nenad Stetic; her children, John (Melanie Melnyk) and Teena; her grandchildren, Will and Katya; her siblings-in-law, Mila and Lazar Jokic; her brother Stewart McCowan; her nieces and nephews, David, Julie, Petar and Alex; and her parents, Helen McCowan and Dugald McCowan.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jan to Matthews House Hospice or Pathways to Education would be appreciated.
