We bid farewell to James Stewart Colwell (Alliston, Ontario), born in Beeton, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 24, 2025 at the age of 87. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ruth, Richard (Dick) and Jack. He is survived by: his sisters, Joan and Lorna; his children, Rob Colwell (Renee), Anne Barkley (Mark), Karen Kerker (Jeff), Kelly Platt and Dwayne Pankhurst (Mae); his grandchildren, Kathryn (Eric), Emily (Tom), Lauren, Sam, Allison, Hannah, Joshua, Alex and Quentin; and his great grandchild Mira.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Matthews House Hospice would be appreciated, so that other families can benefit from their care.
