We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2023, at the age of 79, David Dedels (Alliston, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Dedels to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his children, Matthew (Tina) and Katherine (Mark); his grandchildren, Teddy, Piper, Ashford, Kip, Willow and Fletcher; and his sisters, Nancy and Susie (Everett). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to The Good Shepherd Food Bank, Alliston or The Salvation Army would be kindly appreciated.

“David (Butch) and my late husband Bill became friends when David and his family moved to Acton. In their teen years, I understand that they had some fun experiences together and later when David moved to Loretto, Bill would make the occasional visit to their place of business. Although as life happens, David and Bill did not see each other often but I know that Bill considered Butch to be his good friend. I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you at this sad time. Pat Dawkins”
