He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Laughlin and Emma Laughlin of Sherbrooke, PEI; and his siblings, Florence Leboutillier, Ruby Keefe, Vera, Lillian Laughlin, Russell, Kenneth, John and Major Laughlin.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Dermott (Rob) and Gary Laughlin (Norma); his grandchildren, Meghann Chitty (Brennan), Sean Dermott (Jennifer), Cody Laughlin (Monica), Robyn Laughlin (Brandon) and Pepper Chitty; his sister Blanche Forgeron (Halifax); and also, Anne Thompson, Bob Thompson (Lisa), Harry Thompson (Barb), Adam Thompson (Lindsay), Amy Tisdale (Mike), Garrett Skorieko, Ryan Skorieko, Marshall, Franklin Thompson, Tyrus, Seth, Carter Tisdale and Kennedy Skoreiko. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Stevenson Memorial Hospital Fund or Matthews House Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Donations are being accepted in memory of Bernard.
