She was predeceased by: her spouse T. J. Small; her sons, Doug and Ken; her parents, Edna Casserly and Ambrose Casserly; and her siblings, Vince, Mary, Agnes, Ray, Monica, Norman, Frankie and Rita.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Taylor (David) of Oshawa and Brian Small of Oshawa; and her sister Joan Morrison of Etobicoke.
