He is survived by: his spouse Pat Roote; his son Derek (Kim); his grandchildren, Alexis, Isabella, Brody, Breanna, Brynn and Bailey; his great grandchildren, Avery and Kaden; his siblings, Stub Roote (Sue) and Beulah Johnson; and his son Devin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
