He was predeceased by: his wife Hedwig Johanna Schottmann; and his sons, Daniel, Rudy and David. He is survived by: his children, Anna (Rob), Alfred (Sarah), Sabine and Annette (Maureen); and his daughter-in-law Dianne. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
