She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lapensée and Laurette Tierney; her husband Réjean Bélanger; and her siblings, Marie-Marthe (late Donald McDonnell), Jean-Marie, Marcelle (late Patrick Downs), Laurent (late Thérèse Bélanger), Agathe, Monique (late Jacques Beauchemin), Gilles (late Jeannine Lemieux), Marguerite-Marie, Robert (late Louise Legault) and Jacques (Micheline Lefebvre).

She is survived by: her sister Lise (late Francis Dervin). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
