He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Patrick McAuley and Rosella McAllister; his wife Louise Gauthier; and his children, Diane (James), Helen (Bill), Bob (Johanne), Christine (Jean-Yves), Lise and Mark (Carine). He was also cherished by his fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
