She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Johnston; and her parents, Veikko Taipale and Kathleen Harrison. She is survived by: her siblings, Wayne and Eileen (Danny Whitmore); her nieces, Crystal and Priscilla; her friend Louie; her pet Mei-Li; and her extended family, Brian, Carol Ann and Willard.
