With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy June (Barton) Johnston (Alfred, Ontario), who passed away on September 1, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Barton and Dorothy Barton Pollard; her spouse Arden Johnston; her siblings, Garfield Barton, Linda Waugh and Donna Fletcher; and her son-in-law Richard Patterson.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheryl; her sister Wendy Sproule (Kerry Mullin); her siblings-in-law, Nan Barton (Sandra Johnston) and Grant Fletcher; and her aunt Vera Runions. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and her dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lamarre & Son Funeral Home (453 St-Philippe St, Alfred, ON K0B1A0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
