She was predeceased by: her parents, Roméo Gauthier and Lorette Gauthier; her sister Sylviane; and her husband Jacques Taillon. She is survived by: her children, Sylvain Taillon (Alison) and Lynne Smith (Andrew); and her grandchildren, Graeme Smith (Amber) and Malcolm Smith.
