He was predeceased by: his parents, Georges Poirier and Laurette Levac; his son Luc; and his siblings, Benoit (late Darlene Robinson), Robert and Thérèse (late Yvon Bercier).
He is survived by: his wife Paulette Bonneville; his son Michel (Caroline Lauzon); his stepdaughters, Marie-Eve and Véronique Duval; his brother Bernard (late Pierrette Yelle); and also Madeleine (Jean-Paul Yelle). He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
