He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie Lucie Rachel Buss; his children, Geoffrey Buss (Dianna MacLennan), Craig Buss (Nina Palladini) and Jennifer Buss (Shawn Robinson); his grandchildren, Vanessa Buss, Robyn Laflamme, Isaac Roderick, Jayden Buss, Ethyn Lague, Jillian Buss, Joey Palladini and Nick Palladini; his great grandchildren, Lillian Lavergne, Callie Sommerville, Reece Sommerville, Mia Bingley and Kingsley MacFarlane; and his sisters, Denise Buss and Sandra Buss. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends.
