We bid farewell to Thomas Paauw of Alexandria, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 27, 2024 at the age of 85. Thomas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice Paauw; his parents, Cornelis Paauw and Elizabeth Paauw; his sister Theresa Rabbi; and his son David Paauw.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Henry Paauw (Lise), Deborah Cholette-Paauw (Robert Longchamps), Darlene Paauw and Stewart Paauw (Annette); and his siblings, Marines Paauw (Edith), Cornelis Paauw (Lise) and Elizabeth Joseph Humenick. He is also survived by many grand-children and many great grand children.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd. - Alexandria Branch (114 Main St S, Alexandria, ON K0C1A0). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Finnan's Basilica (72 St Paul St, Alexandria, ON K0C1A0).
