McDonald of Alexandria, Ontario, who passed away on March 30, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his son Michael (Ingrid); his parents, Ranald V and Geraldine Kennedy; and his brothers, Stuart and Bruce.
He is survived by: his wife Laurette "Laurie"; his children, Rob (Tiffany) and Lee-Anne Schultz (Philip); his grandchildren, Sandra Campbell (Trevor), Shawn, Matthew, Brittany, Nathan, Owen, Kyle, Noah and Sofia; his great grandchildren, Beau, Angus, Madison and Olivia; and his sisters, Anne Runions (John) and Sheila McDonald (Jonathan).
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd. - Alexandria Branch (114 Main St S, Alexandria, ON K0C1A0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Margaret of Scotland Roman Catholic Church (21505 Butternut Ln, North Lancaster, ON K0C1Z0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
