She was predeceased by: her husband Réal Diotte; her child Gaetan Turcotte; her parents, Albert Cardinal and Roseanna Cardinal; and her siblings, Cecile Théorêt, Edmond Cardinal, Ernest Cardinal and Georgette Bissonnette.
She is survived by: her children, Denis Turcotte (Faye), Jeanne McHardy (late Elwood), Lorraine Turcotte, Wilfrid Turcotte (Cathy) and Louis Turcotte (Lyne); and her stepchildren, Gilles Diotte, Alain Diotte (Sylvie Titley), Sylvie Leduc (Rene) and Guylaine Leclerc (Francois).
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
