It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Gordon MacSweyn (Alexandria, Ontario), who passed away on April 29, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John MacSweyn and Christena Margaret McCaskill; and his brother Donald Hugh. He is survived by: his spouse Christena Margaret "Tena" MacSweyn; his children, John (Jen), Wayne (Karen Ruest), Bobby (Marielle Leblanc), Elizabeth MacSweyn (Tim Nolan) and Eric (Cynthia); his sisters, Anna Margaret Hay (late Alexander) and Anne Jean McRae (late Melvin); and his grandchildren, Derek, Blair, Hayley, Jamie, Sam and Jacob. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
