He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Janssens; his parents, Ludovicus Janssens and Anna Maria Janssens; and his sister Maria Kemps (late Jan). He is survived by: his children, Lucas, Patrick (Melanie Masa), Dany and Christine Ashton (Cameron); and his grandchildren, Richard Ashton (Laura Blewett) and Alexandra Ashton.
Memorial Donations to the Canadian Lung Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
