He was predeceased by: his wife Lilian Moore; and his friend Herman Parsons. He is survived by: his children, Marlene Martinez (late Marcos) of Alexandria and Richard Moore (Laura) of Alexandria; his grandsons, Michael and Patrick (Jiaojiao); and his siblings, Ken (Shirley) of Gaspé and Marjorie (Richard) of Brantford.
