It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lionel Ouimet of Alexandria, Ontario, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lionel Ouimet to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Laurette Ouimet; his parents, Victor Ouimet and Sara Ouimet; and his siblings, Hermini, Conrad, Réné, Raymond, Aurel, Alida, Gilberte, Irène, Georgette, Marie-Ange, Rita and Jeannette.
He is survived by: his children, Louise Sherren (Anthony), Michel Ouimet, Daniel Ouimet (Guylaine) and Claudine Nadeau (Denis); and his grandchildren, Mélanie (Andrew), Patrick (Christine), Stéphanie (Peter), Christian, Ghislain (Christine), Nicholas (Catherine) and Karine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends who were touched by his kindness.
