He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosario Deguire and Irène Deguire; and his siblings, Maurice Deguire, Rhéal Deguire, André Deguire, Fernand Deguire (Anne), Albert Deguire (late Rose), Thérèse Deguire and Pauline (late Fernand Duval).
He is survived by: his wife Thérèse Deguire; his children, Carmen Deguire, Jacqueline Lavigne (Gerald), Conrad Deguire, Louise Deguire (Mario Gauldrault) and Laura Brossoit (Michel); his grandchildren, Gabrielle Deguire, Maxime Deguire, Jonathan Deguire, Jéremie Deguire, Mikaël Deguire, Jamie Deguire, Joël Lavigne, André Lavigne, Sylvain Lavigne, Eric Brossoit, Vincent Brossoit and Melissa-Michelle Brossoit; and his siblings, Jeannine (Philippe Pilon), Marie-Ange (Harry Rae), Elizabeth D'Aoust, Valentine Deguire (Marcel Germain) and Raymond Deguire (Francis Kozaroff). He is also survived by his many nephews, nieces, friends.
