He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Johnsen; and his parents, Anton Johnsen and Elizabeth Johnsen. He is survived by: his children, Linda Johnsen (Brian Tysick), Karl Johnsen, Karen Leblanc, Michael Johnsen (Nathalie) and Kevin Johnsen (Sylvie); and his grandchildren, Beverley, Katelynn, Kathy, Kim, Kristopher, Maxim, Jessica, Ashley, Tyler, Korry and Katie. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
